Looking at your 401k or monthly bank statement these days can add a ton of stress to even the most patient person. It’s not comforting to see that mostly every asset you own seems to be decreasing in value. Through all of this, there is one asset that should never decrease in value. Our relationship with Christ!!!
When thinking about that relationship the term appreciation comes to mind. There are two ways to define this word and they both can apply to our spiritual lives. First, APPRECIATION can be defined as the increase in value of a given item. Second, APPRECIATION can be defined simply as being thankful. Both definitions should affect the way that we live our lives. Our relationship with Christ should APPRECIATE in value each day that we open our eyes. When the value of our relationship with Christ increases, it has an affect on how much we APPRECIATE or are thankful for the things He does for us daily.
As you live each day, take inventory of your life and think of the many ways that God has blessed you. Thank Him each day for His love and show your APPRECIATION by sharing that love with those you come in contact with and by living your life according to His will. Trust me, your life APPRECIATE in ways unimaginable.
